Ok, so you’ve got the unenviable job of organising this years Christmas party and you haven’t got a clue where to start. Well, panic ye not. The diary is almost full for Christmas this year and it’s not even November yet! Last night was Viva Las Vegas UK style in the Strictly Come Dancing Ballroom, and here are the professional dancers showing us how it’s done! We had a fantastic night hosting a fun casino party night in Eastbourne last night. The Christmas party was held at The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne, and there were over 200 guests at the party. It was a really beautiful venue and a really great Christmas party. The guests were in the highest spirits (as you’d imagine with a free bar!) and we dealt Roulette and Blackjack all night long. We had a great reaction from the Christmas Party guests, and they all loved us and were chuffed to bits we’d been hired for the occasion. It was bedlam at the casino tables from start to finish, and we literally had to bribe people away from the tables to let other guests have a turn at playing. Once again, it was the Blackjack tables that were in the highest demand, and at one point, we managed to squeeze 12 players in at once which was fun but a bit overwhelming for the dealers! Still, they took it all in their stride, like any good professional would do… I love my girls! It was definitely the right way to entertain these guys, because it would seem that each and every one of the guests had a mild gambling addiction (not to cast aspersions of course) because as soon as the casino tables opened for play, it was like bees around a honey pot! Well, this made me a happy bunny. At least there was one incredible performance on the X-Factor this weekend. Sadly, I missed it on Saturday as I was working at a Christmas casino night (as per usual) but I enjoyed catching up on Sunday morning. Was gutted to see our Katie get the boot, but she was never going to win it with all the nasty press she’s been getting so I’m glad she went now and wasn’t strung on ’til later and given false hope again. Matt nailed Knights in White Satin, and dare I say it – Wagner did a stellar job of the classic Radiohead track, Creep – in his own, never to be repeated Wagner fashion! (There are fans all over vying for my blood!) Anyway, Matt to win.

Just a very quick blog to say I hope you had a Merry Christmas and to wish you all a very Happy New Year. We’ve been rushed off our feet here at Harlequin Fun Casino and finally, things are starting to calm down! Christmas has been absolutely immense this year – we have attended hundreds of parties, met thousands of incredible people, and eaten unmentionable amounts of mince pies (to be burned off in the new year of course) and we have enjoyed every single moment of it… Ok, so there were times when we felt a bit run down and under-slept, but it’s been worth every wink we missed. We are already looking forward to Christmas 2011, although if the truth be told, we are also looking forward to the 11 month break in between as well!

We are off to a huge party tonight in Surrey tonight to see the New Year in, and we are all very excited about it.This is the biggest party night of the year, and we’re really looking forward to it. A New Year’s Eve party casino is absolutely unforgettable, and we’re always glad to be a part of an amazing party night.
