Harlequin Fun Casino Hire

On Saturday night, myself and the Harlequin team went down to beautiful Bury in West Sussex, a quaint little village nestled away not far from Arundel, to host a charity fun casino at a charity ball for the NCT. The ball took place at Dorset House School which not was not only an absolutely beautiful venue with views overlooking the lush landscapes of the beautiful South Downs but is also steeped in many years of history. The event was a roaring success and all credit must be given to the beautiful Emma Gillespie who organised the entire event from start to finish. The guests all looked fabulous in their ball gowns and tuxedos, and everyone gave very generously to the cause. We managed to raise around £500 for the NCT by selling fun money to guests on the night and a mention has to be made about our new friend Mark who spent three solid hours on the casino tables and walked away with a well deserved bottle of Champagne at the end of the evening!

We had such a great night at the charity ball and we met some fabulous people there, including a great band who go by the name of The Hit Squad! Everyone loved their music and had a fabulous time! The guys from The Hit Squad are so lovely as well and I really hope we bump into them again some time soon.

As well as wedding cakes, Rebecca also designs and bakes beautiful miniature cakes which can be used as centrepieces for your tables, and delicious iced cookies which are a great idea for wedding favours! Her cookies tie in beautifully with her cakes and they look really fantastic. Each cookie is tied in a cellophane bag with a pretty ribbon. (See the image on the right for an example.) They can be made in a variety of different flavours and can be themed to fit in perfectly with your wedding colours.

On Sunday, I went to the wedding fayre at the Effingham Park Hotel in Copthorne, West Sussex. Harlequin is based in Copthorne, so it was a leisurely and local day out for us! It was a fantastic day, there were so many brides there and loads of great exhibitors. We met lots of lovely people and made lots of new friends. The venue itself was really lovely. IT’s the perfect place for a wedding reception, especially in the Summer as the grounds of the hotel are so beautiful. The image on the left shows the main room set up for a wedding. As you can see, the effect of the domed ceiling is absolutely gorgeous! This is the room we were in for the wedding fayre. It had a great atmosphere (although it didn’t look quite as amazing as this image!)

We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Lucy Bartholemew from Inflation and Inspiration, a Balloon Decorating company from Crawley, West Sussex. Not only is Lucy lovely, she is also an incredible balloon decorator! Take a look at some of the images on her website to see just what I mean. On Saturday night, we hosted a fun casino night in Bury, and whilst we were there, we happened upon a company by the name of Party Pix who offer a really unique event photography service.

They have a mobile studio set up with a box of props, lights, camera and talented photographers who take your professional photograph right there and then! It’s a great idea for Wedding Receptions, birthday parties, award ceremonies and charity fundraisers!

I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine today? I have been admiring it longingly from my office window! Glad I get to go out in a couple of hours for a bit of Spring time fresh air! It’s so much fun doing fun casino parties. I absolutely love my job. I get to go to parties, wedding receptions, charity nights and loads of brilliant get-togethers where I meet all kinds of lovely people who are there purely to have a great time!

Tonight, I’m off to Bury, West Sussex to entertain guests at a charity event for The National Childbirth Trust and I can’t wait to meet all the guests and start having some casino fun! It’s up to me to sell the fun money to all the guests, so I’ll be wearing out my shoe leather tonight making sure every single guests buys some fun money to use on the Roulette and Blackjack tables to raise money for such a great cause.

A charity fun casino is a brilliant way to raise money for your favourite charity or organisation. We can sell fun money to your guests and all monies raised go towards the charity of your choice. You can ask local businesses and companies if they’ll donate prizes for your guests to win, so that they’ll be more likely to keep buying the fun money! A nice little incentive always goes down well! If you’re short of offers, then a bottle of bubbly will do the job nicely. At the end of the day, all the money is going to charity, so most guests part with their cash quite happily anyway!

I have found a fabulous company who do wedding hair and wedding make-up. Nicola at “The Beauty Room” is absolutely great at what she does, I watched her style several models for a wedding show in Croydon this week and I was absolutely bowled over! She has a really elegant touch to her hair styles, but without making the hair look too tidy and aligned. I love how she made the brides look contemporary as well as sophisticated. They looked natural even when they were made up. The colours she used in their make up really enhanced their natural beauty, and she has a knack of making imperfections look perfect! Her prices for wedding hair are extremely competitive, and  she even offers a special package for hair, make-up, manicure and pedicure for a fantastic £130!
