I am honoured to have been asked to be Chief Bridesmaid at my best friend’s wedding in July next year. I’m thrilled that she has set a date at last, and I can’t wait.

We were wedding dress shopping last weekend, and I got chatting to the lady who owned the dress shop about Harlequin Fun Casino. Having been in the wedding industry for nearly ten years, I was incredibly surprised to learn that she was not familiar with the concept of a mobile wedding casino. She’d heard that it was possible to hire a fun casino, but had never heard of someone hiring a fun casino for a wedding reception. I was baffled, as most of the enquiries we receive are for wedding receptions. It has to be the most popular booking across the board.

So I was amazed! There are only two possible explanations. Either the lady hadn’t spoken to her clients in very much depth about the plans for their reception (although she was most attentive about the wedding attire of course) or people in her area were not aware of the fact that they could hire a fun casino for their wedding.

Harlequin fun casino entertained guests at a 21st birthday party in Billericay tonight. Everyone had a great time, including our three croupiers and myself. Personally I was excited before the event to be heading out to Billericay. Having never been there before, it sounded quite exotic. A bit like Faliraki or Thessaloniki. I must admit, as lovely as it was, it wasn’t as as exotic as I had imagined, but being the home town of Gavin Shipman (of the epic BBC Three comedy “Gavin & Stacey”) it retains it’s charm for me. I’m looking forward to the day Harlequin is booked for a fun casino night on Barry Island. (Gavin & Stacey fans will appreciate my meaning, I am sure.)

Harlequin fun casino have been called away to the north east of London a lot recently, and I am becoming a firm fan of this part of the country.

Harlequin hosted a party casino in London last night, and it was a roaring success. With one roulette table and two blackjack tables, the guests had plenty of space to move about and ensure they had the opportunity to play at each table. The party was in honour of Blake Rowland who turned 40 this weekend, and I am positive he won’t mind if I say that if his skills on the roulette table are anything to go by, he shouldn’t go rushing out to Vegas to play for real any time soon! I don’t think we’ve ever seen anyone lose their fun money so quickly!

As a gesture of goodwill, we gave Blake a few more bucks to have another go, but we insisted he deviate slightly from his “All on Black” system. This time he lasted a good seven minutes!

Harlequin fun casino would like to send a warm Congratulations to Adam and Amanda Collins who celebrated their marriage at a beautiful wedding reception in Guildford last Saturday.  Adam and Amanda had already exchanged vows in Las Vegas last month at an intimate event attended by close family, but shared the occasion with their friends and family back home this week, and Harlequin Fun Casino brought all the fun and atmosphere of Las Vegas to the reception!
