Boxing Day Private House Party Casino

Well, it’s Boxing Day already. Where did this week go? This afternoon, Harlequin Fun Casino entertained an intimate group of 25 people with our full size Roulette table and huge, full size Blackjack table. It was a really great party, and everyone had a fabulous time! The host, Alan was quite a natural on the Blackjack table. Anyone would think he had played before (Hmm. We won’t mention it to your better half, Alan!)

Small parties are always a pleasure to work for. It’s lovely to get to know everyone at the party, and there’s no pressure to move off the tables to make room for other guests.

If you’re having a private house party and you’re looking for a way to entertain your guests for a few hours, a mobile casino could be just the thing you need.

Give us a call or send us an email and we can help you transform your living room into a Las Vegas Casino for the evening! Chances are, your guests will not have seen these authentic size tables before, and they are sure to be suitably impressed.

Merry Christmas to all our Friends and Clients!

We’ll be available online at all times over the festive period, and it’s business as usual as of January 2nd.

We hope you have a lovely Christmas, and we send you our thanks for your business throughout the last year.

'Twas the night before Christmas…

… when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The Night Before Christmas

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

“Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof the prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly, That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”

Casino Party in Brighton

ServingLast night, Harlequin Fun Casino hosted a fun casino in Brighton, and what a fantastic night it was. 150 guests, a fabulous band, great food, and of course, Blackjack and Roulette tables!

The casino tables were busy from the minute the first card was dealt, to the time the party came to a close, and there were a few who managed to make their fun money last the entire night! The winner of the night, who managed to turn his fun money into the most amount of casino chips, was Claire Devenport who managed to turn her £50 into £650 at the roulette table in less than an hour. Most impressive! I think her friend Tamara could have taken a few lessons. Tamara came in at the start and put her £50 down on black. Of course, when the roulette wheel span, it landed on red. Job done for Tamara I’m afraid. But what a gamble! It’s what the game is all about after all!

If you’re hosting a party in Brighton or the surrounding area, and you’d like to entertain your guests with something that will be much talked about afterwards, call us and enquire about having a fun casino at your party.

Fun Casino Party in Crawley

Last night Harlequin Fun Casino hosted a fun casino in Crawley for 200 guests. The Roulette table was in constant play for the full three hours, and a big congratulations goes out to Miss Louise Haversham who turned £50 into £1,050 in less than an hour on the Blackjack table. I think they call that beginners luck!

It is always so much fun to watch the guests revel in each others mistakes and losses, yet cheer and laugh whenever anyone hit 21 against the dealer’s 17!

A mobile casino is so much fun, especially when there is an air of friendly competition amongst the guests! But even if it’s the first time the guests have met, the electric atmosphere takes over and everyone starts to loosen up.

Call us today if you’re considering having a fun casino in Crawley or the surrounding area. We’ll gladly bring our Roulette and Blackjack tables to your event an entertain your guests for hours of casino fun!

Fun Casino for Christmas

ChristmasThe last Saturday before Christmas is always a busy one, and this year was no exception. It’s not easy being in four places at once, and it’s even harder to drive through thick snow and ice to be there! But it was worth it! The fun casino in Southampton was a rip-roaring success, with over 300 guests in attendance, and the most beautiful venue I have ever had the pleasure of working in, and an atmosphere to rival even the busiest Las Vegas Casino, the night was absoolutely brilliant.

Over at the fun casino in Bournemouth, things were just as crazy and equally as much fun. The Las Vegas theme party was great fun, and the roulette table and blackjack table leant an air of authenticity to the whole night.

Having a mobile casino at a Christmas party is an absolute must if you want to keep your guests buzzing all night long. Our professional croupiers are very friendly and will help your guests play the games if they’re not sure of the rules. Those of you who already play will know how easy it is to pick up the rules of the game.

It’s never too early to book your Christmas party, and Harlequin fun casino gets booked up very early. Just call us and we’ll happily pencil a date in the diary for you!

Snow Day!!!

I don’t know about you, but we woke up this morning to a good 6 inches of snow outside! It’s so beautiful to look at, but not so beautiful to work in!

It took us over half an our to de-snow the van and get it out of the drive in the morning. I thought, to be safe, we’d go and set the tables up at our event nice and early in the afternoon so that there was no worry about traffic problems (as there always is when it snows this much in the South of England) and our hosts tonight would have one less thing to worry about.

As it turned out, it wasn’t a problem on the roads at all. Everyone was taking things a bit slowly to be careful, but it wasn’t the mayhem and madness that it was back in February (when my partner managed to spin his car 360 degrees on the M25 10-15 times before he could make it to the nearest junction and try to turn back!)

I confess, I love the snow like a 5 year old. All I kept thinking about when I was out setting up for tonight, was how much I wanted to get back home and make snow angels. Does that make me an idiot? If it does, I can’t help it! I love Christmas, and I love the snow. I wish I’d put a little bet on at the bookies for a White Christmas now. Oh well, I’ll have to console myself by drinking a glass of mulled wine and making a great big snowman in my back garden. (His name is Eric by the way.)
