Fun Casino Hire in Copthorne

Harlequin Fun Casino Hire are based in Copthorne, West Sussex. Copthorne is ideally situated just off of the M23, so we can hop onto the M25 in ten minutes. The great thing about being based here, is that nowhere seems too far away. We had an enquiry for a fun casino in Northamptonshire today. I had a look  on googlemaps and it turned out, it was almost one straight road the entire way there!

We often attend events in and around the Copthorne/Crawley area, so if you’re in need of party entertainment locally, give us a call today!

French Roulette Anyone?

Casino in ParisOver the last four months, we have been receiving lots of requests for French Roulette as opposed to American Roulette, so, since it’s the first of the fourth, we have decided to give in to the demand and have purchased a French Roulette Wheel and Table. The entire game is in French, and to play, you will need a firm grasp of the French language. I spent much of my youth in France, and I am able to hold a decent conversation, but I have borrowed some phrase books from my local library to brush up on my knowledge. I thought I’d share some of the more common phrases used at the French Roulette Table for those of you who are new to the concept.

ENGLISH: “Place your bets please”

FRENCH: “Placez vos opinions s’il vous plaît”

.

ENGLISH: “I’d like to place £200 on Red Please”

FRENCH: “Je voudrais £200 sur rouge s’il vous plaît”

.

ENGLISH: “What are the chances? It’s landed on Black for the last three spins!”

FRENCH: “Quelles sont les chances ? Il est posé sur Noir pour les trois derniers tours!”

.

ENGLISH: “Well, that was my last tenner… TAXI!”

FRENCH: “Bien, c’était mon dernier tenner… TAXI!”

Wedding Casino in Kent

We’ve just arrived back from a beautiful wedding reception in Kent this evening. It’s always lovely to work in Kent. It’s one of my favourite places in the UK. It’s so close to home too which is lovely, not that I ever mind travelling long distances to an event, but it is lovely when it’s so close!

We took a roulette table and two blackjack tables this evening, and all three went down a treat with the guests! It’s usually the guys who can’t get enough of the Blackjack tables, but tonight, it was a ladies game! The same 7 ladies in fact played on one of the Blackjack tables for nearly two hours (they only left the table because they were forced to join in with “The Macarena” on the dancefloor!)

Thanks to Wendy and Mark for asking us to be a part of their special day. It was a lovely day and we had a fantastic time. If you are looking to hire a fun casino in Kent or the surrounding area, call us today to find out more, or fill in our enquiry form for a no-obligation quote!

Fun Casino Charity Fundraising Night!

Funny KittenThere are loads of ways to make money for Charity, but we’re a bit fan of a Charity fun casino (obviously!) Charity fun casino nights are an absolute success every time, and there really is no better way to entice guests to donate to the charity you are raising for. Here’s how it works:

  • Find a venue and get the date booked in the diary with your favourite fun casino company. (If you’re looking for a reputable company, I can probably recommend one – and they’ll probably offer you a hefty discount *ahem*)
  • Sell tickets to the event.
  • Buy some lovely casino decorations to make the venue look Ace (pardon the pun).
  • Advertise your event with posters, announcements, blogs, memos and newsletters, basically in any way that get’s your event noticed.
  • Ask local companies and businesses to donate prizes for the highest rollers on the night (Perhaps one prize for each table? The bigger the prize, the more “fun money” you’ll be likely to sell.
  • On the night, sell “Fun Money” to your guests which they then exchange for chips at the table. They can buy as much fun money as they want, and we’ll do all we can to make sure they are generous! You can decide how much each $50 fun money note is sold for. You know your guests better than we do. How much do you think they’ll part with? £5? A tenner? We can discuss this together to get the fee just right.
  • At the end of the night, we’ll tell you who the highest rollers were, and we’ll award them with the prize! Simple
  • When the night is over, count up your pennies like a kind-hearted and charitable Scrooge and revel in your good-doing!

For more information on how to incorporate a fun casino into your fund-raiser, please get in touch and we’ll help you in any way we can!

Hire LED Uplighters for your Event

LED Uplighters

If you’re looking for a way to enhance the mood of your venue, then LED Uplighters could be just what you’re looking for. It’s amazing how much of a difference these little lights can make to an otherwise dull looking venue, and they can be set to the colour of your choice. If you’re unsure of how best to use them in your venue, call us today and we’ll talk you through how we can add ambience to your venue.

Fun Casino Night in Crawley.

Last night Harlequin Fun Casino hosted a fun casino party in Crawley for 150 guests. Once again, it was a brilliant night, with three casino tables (two Roulette tables and a Blackjack table).

The highest roller tonight was Miss Jenny Rowland, who hit the jackpot of $2,100 having spent over two hours on the Blackjack table! It was looking a bit desperate about an hour in, as Jenny went from $1,200 to a mere $300 in four hands, but she certainly brought it back and scooped the prize of a bottle of Champagne. Well done Jenny and all of Ray and Tina’s guests, who made the night a huge success and great fun!

Hire a fun casino for your Wedding Reception

Wedding Fun Casino HireThere are so many decisions to make when you’re organising your wedding day. Obviously there are those huge decisions, like the Dress, the venue, the Groom…

…What kind of cake to have, what colour the bridesmaid’s dresses will be, and one of those important decisions is “what entertainment to provide for your guests” These days, it’s not enough to hire a DJ and ask him to play a few requests. In today’s modern wedding, guests have come to expect, and brides are wanting to offer something extra  impressive to ensure their guests have a fantastic time at their wedding. That’s where we usually come in.

A fun casino is a great way to offer your guests entertainment that is not only unique but also great fun!

  • A fun casino can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.
  • It adds a dynamic twist to your wedding reception and makes it an even more memorable evening.
  • A fun casino creates a buzzing atmosphere at a wedding reception.
  • The tables are an excellent addition to a “Las Vegas” wedding reception.

If you’re looking for something that will really impress your wedding guests, a fun casino could be exactly what you need! Our tables are immaculate in condition and look very impressive in any venue.

To find out more, call or email us today and we’ll tell you all you need to know!

James Bond Fun Casino in Guildford

March 13th SmallOn Saturday night, Harlequin had the pleasure of hosting a Fun Casino in Farnham, Guildford for the lovely Gary Newell to celebrate his 40th birthday. It was a fabulous party with over 80 guests, three fun casino tables (two Blackjack tables and one Roulette table) a fabulous singer, and a great venue!

There were quite a few high rollers throughout the night, including Trevor who racked up a cool $450, Alan who managed to collect a very impressive $4,000, but the winner of the night, by a long shot, was none other than 007 himself, James, who scooped a mightily impressive $4,800 on the Blackjack table after cleaning up at Roulette previously! And all this at the tender age of 12! Dad Gary was more than impressed! I bet he can’t wait for James to turn 21 so they can hit the casinos together! James took away the bottle of Champagne under the condition that he gave it to his mum for Mother’s day the following morning! Everyone was so impressed with James. I think that’s the biggest win we’ve had this year, so well done!

The venue looked really great, Gary and his friends did a marvellous job. There were playing cards on the walls, centre pieces on the tables, James Bond style cardboard cut-outs, balloons, swages of fabric draped in the marquee and confetti on the tables. It really did look gorgeous!

Thanks again to Gary for inviting us to help make the night the success that it was, and many happy returns!
