We had the pleasure of entertaining the guests of the new Mr and Mrs Alan Stow on Saturday night at their wedding reception casino in Charlwood near Gatwick. It was a really lovely evening, and all the guests had a great time. The second the Roulette table opened up, we were swamped with guests who were desperate to try their luck! Some of the guests had never played Roulette before, and so our gorgeous croupier Melanie taught everyone how to play. She’s excellent at making the game really accessible for everyone, so that nobody is left out. We have no restrictions at our tables, anyone of any age can play, as long as they have their parents consent of course!! At a fun casino, we only play for fun money. No real money changes hands at the table, so you don’t have to worry about losing a small fortune! If you run out of money, we are happy to replenish it so you can keep having fun.

Faye and Alan, the Bride and Groom had a great time on the Roulette table, and Faye was easily one of the best players of the night. (Something tells me this wasn’t her first time in a casino!) We had players young and old (the youngest was 2 and a half!) and everyone absolutely loved it! Some of the guests didn’t leave the table from the time it opened up to the second it was closed down!

The big winner of the night was Dennis who racked up a cool $3,000 and bagged himself a very special bottle of wine for his efforts! Well done Dennis, just a shame we weren’t playing for real money!

We had a great night last night in Farnborough. Wheelers Law held a fun casino charity fundraiser to raise money for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, and what a fantastic night it was. We took three fun casino tables to the event and all three were packed out all night long. We’re still awaiting the final total of funds raised, but suffice it to say, a great time was had by all, and a lot of money was raised for a very worthy caused! Well done to everyone who came and donated and thanks again to Becci and Mel at Wheelers for asking us to be a part of this very special event.

We had great fun last night, when we took our fun casino tables down to sunny Brighton for a party in aid of Chris and Margot’s 1st wedding anniversary party! We took two Blackjack tables and a Roulette table and spoiled the guests with a red carpet entrance and VIP treatment throughout the night!

The best weekend of the year is finally here! Yes, it’s the Wimborne Folk Festival once again! For those of you who have never had the pleasure of visiting Wimborne or indeed attending the Wimborne Folk Festival, let me explain…

Wimborne is a tiny little market town in beautiful Dorset, and every year around the second weekend in June, it is home to hundreds of morris dancers, bands, folk singers, musicians and cowpunk  craziness! This year was no exception! New to the festival this year was the addition of “Party in the Paddock”, a new version of the Boundary Marquee (which is now a half-built Waitrose… I’ll keep my opinions to myself!) The Paddock was awesome, a great space with so much going on and loads to entertain the kiddies. The incredible country.punk band Pronghorn were on top form as per usual, as were Lady Winwood’s Maggot, a great local band and always a treat to behold. The newcomers this year were the incredible BB3, a band with more soul and more funk than any we’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing at the festival. They’ve made the finals of Live and Unsigned this year and are performing at the o2 later in the Summer. Watch this space, BB3 are going to be huge.

It is always a pleasure coming to Wimborne, and even more so when it’s the festival weekend. I am already counting the days til next year’s folk festival!!

We had a great night last night in Basingstoke! We took our fun casino tables to a party in the heart of Basingstoke along with three gorgeous croupiers and a red carpet and ropes. It was a brilliant night, and the blackjack tables and roulette tables were constantly in play. We have a new base in Winchester and so Basingstoke is just up the road from us now! Where it used to take us about an hour to get to Basingstoke, it’s now a 10 minute drive! I hope we get booked to work in Basingstoke more often now!

Of course, Harlequin Fun Casino have had the pleasure of attending weddings with our fun casino tables the whole year through, but it has to be said, from June to September, it tends to get quite a bit busier!
