Ok, so you’ve got the unenviable job of organising this years Christmas party and you haven’t got a clue where to start. Well, panic ye not. Don’t worry, there are hundreds within taxi range of you, but do make sure you start looking now so you don’t miss out – the best places get booked up months in advance. When you’re booking the venue, always go for the one which seems a little bit too small rather than the one that seems a little bit too big. No matter the size of your guest list, you’ll have a reasonable amount of no-shows, and it’s always better to make the party looked packed out rather than sparsely populated!
Once the venue is picked, decide if you’re going to offer food at the party. If you are, have a word with the venue, there’s a good chance they’ll be able to provide the food for you. It can appear to be a bit more pricey than buying the food in yourselves, but in the long run, it’s a lot easier and worth the extra money to have someone else do it for you. It’s so much less hassle, and it’ll probably taste better if it’s been freshly prepared.
Next, you’ll need to book some entertainment for your guests. That’s where we come in.
